BLK on show as FFA launches All Stars apparel

Football Federation Australia (FFA) CEO David Gallop today announced that Telstra will be the front of shirt sponsor for the Foxtel A-League All Stars for their upcoming match against Juventus.

Telstra now joins the other Foxtel A-League All Stars partners which includes Foxtel, Destination NSW and the Seven Network who are the official broadcaster partner for the Foxtel A-League game.

The announcement was made today at a special event which was held at the Sydney Opera House where the official Foxtel A-League All Stars playing strip, from the official apparel supplier BLK, was unveiled to the public.

Great seats for the match are still available. Go to for details.

Gallop was proud to make the announcement that Australia’s leading telecommunications and information services company would partner the Foxtel A-League All Stars for this historic match.

“To have a blue-chip partner such as Telstra come on board as the front of shirt sponsor of the Foxtel A-League All Stars is fantastic for the team and for football,” Gallop said.

“Over the past year we have been working with Telstra in relation to a number of initiatives and their involvement with the Foxtel A-League All Stars is another way of continuing their relationship with FFA

“Having worked with Telstra in the past, we are definitely excited about partnering with Telstra for this match and look forward to more opportunities to do so in the future.

“I would also like to thank our official apparel partner, BLK, for their innovation and design of the 2014 Foxtel A-League All Stars kit which will feature Telstra on the front of shirt,” Gallop said.

Adam Good, Director Telstra Media and Content said Telstra is excited to be part of the Foxtel A-League All Stars game.

“At Telstra we are proud to connect Australians to the people and the things they are passionate about – sport, and football in particular, is right up there when it comes to things Aussies are passionate about.

“Telstra has been working with the FFA for the past year, helping to bring football fans closer to the game through our Thanks Loyalty Program - offering customers ticket pre-sales and upgrades. Being involved today continues that relationship.

“Congratulations to the players who have made the Foxtel All Stars team. We are proud to be part of the game and together with your fans look forward to supporting you as you run on the field,” said Mr Good.

The striking blue and yellow Foxtel A-League All Stars playing strip was officially unveiled by Mark Birighitti, Josh Rose and Storm Roux.

BLK Chief Marketing Manager Jason Sintome was excited to showcase the official 2014 Foxtel A-League All Stars playing strip for the first time.

“The Foxtel A- League All Stars match caps off a stellar season for the FFA and football in Australia with BLK proud to have an involvement as the Official Apparel partner of the Foxtel A- League All Stars which of course will feature crowd favourite and former Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero.” said Sintome

“As BLK emerges as a global leader in sportswear innovation and design, the Foxtel A-League All Stars provide us with a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our expansion into football through the provision of high performance on field apparel for the very best players in the country, and an exciting range of supporter merchandise for Australia’s passionate football community.”
